Slow riffs. Heavy shit. Unfinished business.

Formed in the back end of the 2010s, Slow Bastard was built on a simple philosophy: keep it slow, keep it heavy, and don’t be in any particular hurry.

Somewhere between sludge, doom and stoner metal, we make music for those who like their riffs filthy, their grooves crushing and their music with a little more weight behind it. Slow, heavy and occasionally ugly…in all the right ways.

In 2017, we released The Fast Sessions, marking the first chapter of Slow Bastard’s recorded output.

Then came a period away from the scene, with COVID marking a turning point for the band. But some things are difficult to leave alone for good.

In 2025, the spirit of Slow Bastard was rekindled. Now we’re back in the rehearsal room, working towards getting back on stage and preparing to record new material.

We’re not here to chase trends, reinvent the wheel or pretend we’ve spent the last decade patiently waiting for the world to catch up. We’re here because we still want to make loud, slow, heavy music…and because there’s unfinished business.

The old material is still out there. The new stuff is on its way.
